We invite everyone to participate and improve their soft skills in “Green HExagon” skills workshops on November 9th “European Green Deal” and on November 28th “Trends in Digital Products and Business Models”. This provides a great opportunity for individuals to enhance their skills and take advantage of these valuable learning experiences.

The workshops are open to all individuals. You will receive a certificate after each workshop.

European Green Deal 09 November 2023 from 15:00 – 17:30 (CET) / 16:00 – 18:30 (EET)

Our speaker, Robert Mende-Kremnitzer, will guide you through the workshop. 

Content and objectives:

  • To learn about and understand the Green Deal and existing and future regulations.
  • How these regulatory changes can affect business ideas and opportunities for companies.
  • Identify new business opportunities and integrate the Green Deal into future business models.

Aim: To understand and identify current trends of digital products and business models in order to seize appropriate business opportunities and support founders.

  • Technical trends (e.g.: hardware and software to generate data).
  • Artificial intelligence: trends + presentation of selected AI projects
  • Digital business models: definition and examples as well as elaboration of business models of the future

Join us for an insightful workshop on navigating the Green Deal and leveraging opportunities for young and dynamic companies on November 9!

The Green Deal is a major change in the economic policy framework in Europe that will leave certain companies behind, but will also open up new opportunities for young and dynamic companies. The way companies are organized by the regulations expected in the coming years will change in many ways. As we move towards a decarbonized and circular economy, thousands of businesses as well as European consumers will face new challenges and needs for which young and dynamic organizations in particular can create solutions.

In this workshop, you will: 

  • learn about the Green Deal and which regulations are in place and which to come 
  • learn how these changes in the framework towards a sustainable Europe can affect business ideas and your regular business and create new opportunities for businesses to come 
  • learn to detect new opportunities and how to integrate green deal in future businesses

This workshop is for people who could be involved as mentors, lecturers, experts, WS leaders, … in the training or support of people interested in setting up a business.

Our speaker, Robert Mende-Kremnitzer, will guide you through the workshop. We will use the heterogeneity and internationality of the participants and will work in groups up to 5 persons. As then, we will start with one hour of deep dive into the most relevant regulations, changes in framework and how business can adopt to that. With this content in mind, you shall practically explore this new and very operative perspective of looking at future through regulations.

The workshop will be conducted online. A certificate will be issued after attending the workshop.

Join us for an insightful workshop to find out trends in digital products and business models on November 28!

This workshop will support you in identifying and understanding current trends in digital products and business models. This will support you in using corresponding business opportunities, whose time windows are only open for a certain period of time, to apply them to potential start-up ideas and to support people interested in starting a business. Furthermore, the knowledge of current trends and their consideration in business models leads to many other advantages in the start-up process. For example, in obtaining financing, finding new markets (Blue Ocean) or simply in finding better solutions to challenges. 

The workshop starts with the technical possibilities and trends that form the basis for lots of digital business models. Building on this, real projects in the field of artificial intelligence will be presented in a comprehensible way in order to better understand the technical implementation and its challenges. The last part deals with the business models that can be developed from this.

  • 14:00 – 14:30 Technical trends – Sensors etc. – Hardware and Software needed for data collection (Kevin Janisch) 
  • 14:30 – 15:30 Trends in AI; presentation of selected AI projects (Markus Hohlagschwandtner) 
  • 15:30 – 17:00 Digital business models (Anne Busch)

The workshop begins with a lecture that forms the basis for the other topics. In the second block, current, real-life examples of AI projects are presented. The last part is a combination of theory on digital business models and practical exercises to apply the knowledge learned and apply it to real start-up ideas.

The workshop will be conducted online. A certificate will be issued after attending the workshop.
